We had a really lovely 4 night stay with my two children 13 and 11. We really did get a proper farm experience. We bottle fed the lambs every morning, we had a morning helping to feed the many pigs and piglets, we walked round the lovely farm getting up close with the flocks, we played with Dizzy the sheepdog, we chased escaping sheep down the road and generally had a really lovely time. The family were fantastic. We felt very welcome. Ian told us lots of interesting info about the pigs, which was great. Karen made us feel really welcome, gave us a walking map and made lots of suggestions for things to do. Matt helped us feed the lambs, patiently guiding the children and going into action to rescue the escaping lambs. Maggie gave us tips on driving the narrow lanes at night. The accommodation was really lovely with everything you need, and lovely views from the sofa out into the fields and oh so quiet at night. I didn’t really want to leave. Lovely….
